3. No Win No Fee – Important Information
Where we agree to act for you on a “No Win No Fee” basis, this means:
- Legal fees (our professional fees for our time and expertise) will only be payable if your matter is successful, as defined in your written costs agreement.
- Disbursements (out-of-pocket expenses such as court filing fees, expert reports, barrister’s fees, medical reports, and travel costs) are not covered by “No Win No Fee” unless expressly stated in writing. You remain responsible for paying these, regardless of the outcome.
- If your case is unsuccessful, while you may not have to pay our legal fees (subject to the written costs agreement), you may still be liable to pay the other party’s legal costs if ordered by a court or tribunal.
- All “No Win No Fee” arrangements are subject to a written costs agreement that sets out the terms in detail. The above is a general explanation only. The written agreement will take precedence.
4. Use of This Website
